Our mutual love of animal rescue brought Soleil and I together. Her family fosters puppies for the same local rescue whose many kittens I’ve fostered over the past two years. Soleil’s mom was looking for a senior portrait photographer and had seen the many photos I’ve taken of our foster cats and kittens. Looking back at Soleil’s session makes me long for the pre-Covid days of wandering down State Street and through Memorial Union Terrace. Hopefully by summer we’ll be able to enjoy the hustle and bustle again. I can’t even imagine how much has changed for the class of 2020.
